Stupid Ass PaperGatlinburg was started in the late 1750'2 by a woman with the name of Jane Husky Ogle and her seven children(Zimmerman 23).Stupid Ass Paper
Over the next thirty years the Ogle,Watson,Trentham,and Bales families along with others, settles in this area.Many businesses and landmarks
today bear their names.The little village continued to grow and expand , in 1835 it became known as White Oak Flats.The first settlers were
mostly farmers,though some were craftsmen.In 1855 Radford Gatlin came to the area and opened a store from that store he ran the Post
Office.Over time the name of the community had been switche
